Meet the new JSRCC Librarians!

Suzanne Sherry
Suzanne Sherry

Suzanne Sherry’s first library job was shelving books at age 16 for the Chesterfield Public Library. She went on to receive a BA in English from William and Mary and an MLS online from Florida State University. Between the two degrees, she spent a year in Ireland, married, and had two children. Suzanne, who counts vegetable gardening, running and knitting among her interests, came to us from John Tyler Community College. She works at the JSRCC’s Parham Road Compus Library.

Kimberley Carroll

Kimberley Carroll has spent much of her library career at the Multnomah County Library in Oregon where she grew up. There she created programs, worked with local schools, conducted staff trainings and co-chaired the annual Storytelling Festival. Her family moved to Richmond in 2012 where she continues her interests in storytelling and running. Her new position is at the Downtown Campus of JSRCC.

Cheer on both librarians as they run the Monument Avenue 10K race on April 13, 2013.
